ABOUT:

The KLW B40-8W v1.1.1 is a re-release of our 2002 v1.1 model. The v1.1.1 release includes the same locomotive model, physics, textures, et. cetera of the original. The cabview and sounds included in the 2002 release have been substituted for aliased files to the default Dash 9.

If you have the original v1.1 model, please be aware that v1.1.1 will override it. The .eng file is the only actual file that differs in the v1.1.1 package.

Please be aware that this locomotive was developed during the infancy of our 3D modeling skills, and was based off of our very first model (a standard-cab B40-8, BNSF #8608). A number of details on this machine are particularly out of proportion or poorly modeled, and there is nothing that I can do about it at this point.

That said, If you wish to run this locomotive, you will have to live with its existing flaws. It is your choice, for I do not have plans, currently, to make a new model to present-day MSTS standards, and no amount of trolls' cajoling will cause me to change my mind on the subject.

#3: Do not use the Trainset folder name "BNSF517," in the intrest of preventing potential compatibility problems.
