CGW Dash 9

This is a repaint of the Maple Leaf Tracks freeware Dash 9. Any restrictions on this model are what are on the origional MLT model. Outside of that feel free to do with this what you want. It worked on my system so it should work on yours but I cannot gaurentee that nor am I responsible it this causes any damage to your system.

Obviously since the CGW was sold to the C&NW in 1968 they did not havve any of these Locomotives. I painted then in the style of the as delivered scheme which you can find various examples of in the Lloyd Stanger book Chicago Great Western in Color. I do not like the red and black paint job and I think the as delivered scheme is the best. The CGW liked to run long trains on their lines and on the EAstern Division, between Chicago and Oelwein they liked to use 9000 hp as a front end to their trains. These are 4400 hp but I believe that the CGW would have bought them since they can get by with 2 engines as opposed to 3 SD40's, 4 GP30's or 6 F units. But since this is all fantisy anyway I like how they look.

These units are aliased to the ac440.zip cabview found at train-sim.com.
I have included the sound and cabview folders for you.
