INFORMATION:

The KLW BN SD40-2 #7151 is based on the new Microsoft BNSF SD40-2 with improved v4.5 Physics by Bob Boudoin, with Burlington Northern cascade textures by KLW TrainSim (blank templates by Scott Miller). Also included is a new cabview based on the Alex Hall's SD40-2 cabview modification, and the KLW 40 Series Sounds v3.0.

Our version of #7151 depicts it cirica early 1980's, after a few years of service with BN.

BN SD40-2 7151 was built by EMD La Grange in February 1979 as part of BN order 786173, unit number 26. After many years of rigorous, unglamorous unit coal train duty, 7151 was moved to the general freight use pool, and is now seen in whiteface scheme. 7151 is probably best known for its role as the lead unit from Pasco, WA to Northtown, MN in the BN employee film Train 110. After a few more years in Cascade green, 7151 was part of the BN+SF merger and became BNSF property.
