ATSF Steel Ice Refrigerator Car
SFRD USRA Rebuild Class Rr-35
3D model and textures (c)2007 by Tim Muir

The Santa Fe rebuilt its large fleet of USRA type refrigerator cars between 1935 and 1950. While retaining the signature fishbelly center sills of the originals, the rebuilds were otherwise state-of-the-art in all other respects. The original classes Rr-W, -X, -Y, -2, -3, -4 were rebuilt into classes Rr-16, -18, -19, -23, -25, -27, -28, -32, -33, -34, -35, -36, -39, -40, -43, -45, -46, -48. A total of 10,246 cars were rebuilt.
