Frisco GP7L 543,626 & 629
November 4, 2002
Reskin by Andre Ming
Color Upgrade by Dennis Jones (frisco113@sbcglobal.net)

3D Model & Original Paint: Marc J. Nelson (http://www.3dtrains.com)
ENG Data: Original file by Chris Lee. Modified by Andre Ming with data from .eng files by Bob Boudoin
Additional Data: Thanks to Clayton "YellowDog" Notgrass for input concerning the alpha work needed, as well as giving me the inspiration to try this upon seeing his excellent Clinchfield 909 repaint which I used as a starting point. Also thanks to the many of the Train-sim.com forum that gave me the encouragement to accomplish this, my second repaint.

This Readme2 was created using John Peterson's readme file

The .ace files in the repaint have been compressed using the excellent TGATool 2 utility.

The sounds are already aliased in the ".eng" file to the default GP38 sounds. A copy of the default GP38.cvf file is also included so that you can place the engine into service quickly. There should be no need to
copy any other files over in order to have a functional engine. I would highly suggest you install one of the several nice GP "high nose" type cabviews to more effectively get the feel of operating a GP7.

To install:
---------------------------------------------
1) unzip this folder into the default Train Simulator folder
   (usually "\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Train Simulator\")

2) create a consist and you'll be on your way!

FRISCO GP7L #543:

Frisco GP7L #543 arrived on Frisco property on 4-14-51. During the late 60's it received the Frisco's Orange and White paint scheme that was becoming the standard paint of the Frisco. Engine 543 was retired from the Frisco 7-5-77 via a trade-in to EMD for new power.

I've modeled the Number 543 with its missing battery hatch cover, as it should be!

Have fun!
