ÿþBEW Renumber SP SD70M #9809.

MLT Payware Cascades Crossing SD70M #9804 or #9823 are needed for shape file.

Copy the shape file SP_SD70M_9804.s from the SP_SD70M_9804 folder on your hard drive to the folder created by unzipping this download, rename the shape file to SP_SD70M_9809.s move the folder to your MSTS TRAINS\TRAINSET directory, move the consist files from the consist directory to the TRAINS\CONSISTS directory and you should then be able to find the engine within the sim and run it.

I have added the front coupler to the engine files and increased the derail buffer force as well as raising the sd file height for ground clearence to 0.95 (these all help to eliminate bouncing and give a better ride over points) if you do not wish for these mods they are easily reversed by copying back the default values from the #9804 engine file.

The cabview is aliased to the Cascades SD70M #9804 to save space. Note: you must use the supplied cabview file as the Engine Brakes have been modified as per the new values by Andre Ming (for faster application and release) and if the original cabview file is used the Engine brake lever in the cabview will not animate.

Gratefull thanks to all at MLT for the great engines to work with in the first place.
