WAMX/SKOL sd40 pack
(Actual units represented are sd-40-2) These units utilize Lou Volland's sd40 shape.
It's a great model and more detailed than about any other freeware shape out there.
Ditchlights are also freelanced because of the existing FA not including them. I wanted to avoid having any dependencies on a payware shape.

The photos I had to work from were this last years and both units were freshly repainted, so the weathering/paint fade is artistic licence. The pics were taken at Cherryvale, KS, a major division point on the South Kansas and Oklahoma Railway. (Formerly at the juncture of 2 different FRISCO/BN and ATSF lines) The parent company of SKOL is Watco. (WAMX). Here, you will find a bit of just about any unit WATCO owns, and not just patched units, but fully painted ones as well..The new paintwork of the SD40's is remminicent of the old Santa Fe "Bookends" scheme...quite good looking. I reccomend a weekend trip to Cherryvale if your in the neighborhood, SKOL is a busy regional with lots of action, places to take great pics from and a wide variety of older, refurbished motive power. The crews are freindly as well...
You know the drill on installing these...Sounds are Ron Furto's, included by permission...Cab is aliased to MLT..I didn't include a custom cab to keep the filesize small...Alias them to the cab of your choice..
